Care Net Pregnancy Center, established in 1985 as the Lockport
Crisis Pregnancy Center, Inc., was renamed in 2002 to reflect our new
affiliation with Care Net. Care Net is a national network
of more than 750 life-affirming pregnancy centers. Care Net
affiliated centers must adhere to high standards of integrity,
compassion, and professionalism. To assist local centers, Care Net
offers educational materials, training, and legal counsel.
The Lockport Care Net Pregnancy Center is a non-profit volunteer organization supported totally by fundraising and donations from area churches, businesses, and individuals. They are a 501C(3). Their mission is to show the love of Christ as they provide a compassionate and safe environment, listen to the client, make available truthful information, introduce positive options, and offer continued help and hope for the future. They are committed to present truthful information about abortion procedures and risks, but they do not provide abortions or refer for abortions. As additional volunteers and funds become available, the center plans to offer expanded services such as abstinence presentations, post abortion counseling, and parenting support classes. The LCPC is grateful for blessings and support received in previous years. They are confident that as they partner with the community and local churches they can expand to touch more lives.
