Here
at Lockport Alliance, it is our mission & vision to turn
spiritual and casual attenders into passionate followers of Jesus
Christ, growing them together into a vibrant, biblically-functioning
community of faith to the Glory of God by:
- Reaching people for Christ through
lifestyle evangelism, advertising, seeker-oriented events and felt-need
ministries
- Relating newcomers to other
attenders both in small groups and in the larger church community
- Rooting believers in a biblically-based lifestyle and
worldview that grows from a heart of worship and prayerful dependence on God
- Releasing people equipped to minister with their
spiritual gifts in their area(s) of primary passion
- Reproducing a Great Commission mindset
through church-planting, Great Commission Fund giving and sending out both
short-term missions teams and long-term career missionaries
- Raising up leaders empowered to
oversee key areas of ministry
- Resourcing other churches in WNY and the
Northeastern District
- Refocusing, reorganizing, and
restructuring as needed for maximum effectiveness
and flexibility
