Before we know it, it will be January and time for the Missions Conference.

Each missionary that visits LAC is given the opportunity to choose any needed items from the Missionary Closet to take for their person or ministry use - as our gift to them.  This is an on-going ministry of Alliance Women.  The Closet is maintained all year and is open to missionary selection any time they come.

You can help stock the Closet by contributing any of the following items.   Items donated should be new, good quality merchandise.

• School supplies
• Birthday party supplies
• Christmas paper products
• Greeting cards
• Stationary, envelopes that peel and stick (not lick & stick)
• Dry envelope mixes (chili, spaghetti sauce, taco, etc.)
• Sheet sets - any size - at least 180-thread count
• Kitchen linens
• Bath towels
• Blankets - any size - regular or thermal
• Card games such as Uno or Phase 10, but not ones using a regular deck of playing cards
• Rubbermaid or Tupperware containers
• Cake or pie pans
• Corelle dishes

Donations can be turned into the Welcome Center.

Remember those in need through the church benevolent fund

You can make a difference to other people in need by giving to our church Benevolent Fund.  Your generosity allows the elders to minister to various needs in the body of Christ, providing emergency financial assistance to individuals and families in crisis.  It's a tangible way of saying, "we care."  Thank you for remembering others in need.  You can designated a portion of your giving to this fund by indicating "Benevolent Fund" on your envelope.
