LOCKPORT
ALLIANCE CHURCH
In Christ we who are many
form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. - Romans 12:5

Well, it’s here. Through your generous giving and support, our Coffee Connection has opened, and we’re thrilled that so many newcomers and regular attendees have been enjoying it. Here are some answers to your common Coffee Connection questions.
A: For sure! Come enjoy a cup of any of the following:
A: No. Especially not newcomers! In addition, no one should ever feel obligated to pay for their beverages. This is a ministry of our church designed to foster connections and welcome newcomers, and we never want to put an obstacle in the way of achieving that goal.
A: There has been a Coffee Connection Fund established, and any funds giving in the offering marked “Coffee Connection” will be deposited into that fund. Also, all donations from the donation box will be deposited into that account. This fund will be used to pay for ongoing expenses. Thank you to all who have been faithfully supporting this ministry!
A: We have a great team, and we sure are having fun doing it! We still have needs particularly in these two areas:
1) We still need a few people to serve before and after the early service (8:00-8:25/9:30-9:45).
2) We would like to have volunteers to bake/bring in goodies. Whenever you’d like to bring something in, we’d love to put it out for people to enjoy. As little or as much as you’d like to participate would be fine.
If you’re interested in either of these opportunities, please contact Jim Cianca, or put a note in the offering plate.
A: First, contact the church office and ask for your event to be put on the church calendar for that date (to avoid schedule conflicts). Next, contact Jim Cianca to arrange training. If you’ve been trained (or are a part of the CC team), there is no need to contact Jim unless you have questions or need further assistance.
A: If you see someone with a mug that has the Coffee Connection logo on it, that means that person is brand new to our church. Challenge yourself to go and meet them, and make them feel welcome. If you meet someone who is new to our church who hasn’t received a mug, bring them over to the Coffee Connection to get theirs – and to introduce them to others there.
For more information on these or any other questions, please contact the church office.
