This is a video assisted class facilitated by Glenn Baum and Bonnie Birkmeyer.  Whether you are a great parent or struggling in your role, the very entertaining Dr. Kevin Leman has can steer you to a better relationship with your children and help you parent more effectively.  Topics covered include: how to talk so kids will listen, discipline isn’t punishment, expressing anger, improving your child’s self-confidence, dealing with media and technology. Optional workbooks expand on the lessons and offer personal application.

Parents of children 1-18 should plan on attending as it’s never too early or too late to learn and apply parenting skills. The class is meeting upstairs in the Davidson Room.

Experiencing God’s Dream for Your Marriage

This another practical video lecture series by author and Bible teacher Chip Ingram.  This class is a safe place to learn techniques to strengthen the communication in your marriage and learn to appreciate the unique qualities of your partner.  Topics include: How to Share Hearts Instead of Exchange Words, Barriers to Intimacy and How to Fight Fair in Your Marriage.  Optional workbook delves deeper into Scripture, allowing for personal reflection.  The time in class will be too short to cover the workbook or allow for personal sharing. The class is meeting in the Conference Room in the Administration Building.  Grab a cup of coffee and head over!
