25 Basic Bible Studies

Course Description:

Who do we believe? What do we believe? Why do we believe?

We will deploy a Francis Schaeffer booklet called "25 Basic Bible Studies." We'll launch from there. After three or four weeks, you might find the title vaguely ironic.

Bring a Bible, an attitude if you've got one, and a heart ready to be filled with a vast and indelible Jesus.

Leader: Dave Westcott
Location: Fellowship Hall

Raising Stephanie

Course Description:

An interactive class for young adults to discuss what God wants to do in your life. Sharing real life experiences about God and how to improve your relationship with Him.

Examples of Gods work in everyday life; praying, listening, obeying, blessing and being blessed. Doing what God wants you to do.

(Young singles, young married, young at heart)

Leader: Ken Moore, Sr.
Location: Conference Room in the Office/Admin Building

Life in God's Orchard: Harvesting the Fruit of the Spirit (Women’s Class)

Course Description:

Start the fall off right by discovering more about the fruit of the Spirit in your life.  Do you know the 9 qualities that make up the fruit of the Spirit?  Do you know that God's highest purpose for us is to make us like Jesus (Rom. 8:29)?  As we study these 9 New and Old Testament passages highlighting each quality, we will allow the Spirit's fruit to ripen in our lives, thus looking more like Jesus.  Come join a group of women of all ages in the Davison Room as we seek to harvest the fruit of the Spirit in each of our lives.

Books are not required but are available at the Front Porch Table for $7.  You can pay the first day of class, Sept. 18.  Do sign up so we can be prepared with books.  Bring your Bible and look forward to the harvest!

Leaders: Fran Kahler & Laura Robbins
Location: Davison Room
