Prayer Ministry

Top 10 Prayer Requests:  Fall/Winter 2008 (September - December)

  • Development of the 2009 budget
  • Work of the Nominating Committee, congregational meeting November 13, and elections for 2009
  • Wisdom for future church staff position(s)
  • Outreach:  Start-up of the fall ALPHA course in September
  • Expansion of small group ministry:  new leaders and hosts, new groups, training
  • Fall transitions:  Start-up of mid-week King's Kids and youth groups (SHYG small groups)
  • Men's ministry:  Experiencing God study; Promise Keepers event(s)
  • Hosting "Breaking the 500 Barrier" seminar this fall
  • Ongoing work of the Expansion Task Force (ETF) in laying plans for the next phase of our facilities expansion
  • Assimilation of newcomers in ALPHA, small groups, membership, ministry

Regular Prayer Ministries

  • Sunday morning pre-service prayer 7:45 - 8:10 am; Old library/Upper Fellowship Hall - open to anyone who comes to pray
  • Sunday morning rotating prayer teams during 2nd worship service 11:00 am - 12:15 pm; prayer room outside of the Upper Fellowship Hall - Contact Pat Craft at the church office.  There are currently seven (7) teams operational.
  • Mid-week prayer time Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 pm - open to anyone who comes to pray
  • Prayer for healing and wholeness Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:00 pm; foyer area outside of sanctuary - open to anyone with special needs for personal prayer
  • Church prayer chain - contacted as needed for emergencies and special needs that arise.  Contact Pat Craft at the church office to be added to the prayer chain.
  • Special seasons of prayer and fasting - called by the elders as needed.  Participate when called to do so.
  • Bible Quizzing Prayer Partners - support our Bible Quizzers through prayer.
