LOCKPORT
ALLIANCE CHURCH
In Christ we who are many
form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. - Romans 12:5
Highlights from the June 15 elders meeting:
The elders reviewed the first six months of the year and
considered strategic plans for the remainder of 2009.
The elders received an update on plans on the progress of
the worship center renovation project. Terry Ford, project
manager, has had several strategic meetings with some of the key
principals involved and significant forward progress is being
made. Revelation Sound of Rochester has been chosen to do the
acoustical treatment of the worship center.
A recommendation from the trustees and the Ministry Board
to repair the east side stoop of the Fellowship Hall at a cost
of $2,162 was approved.
The elders approved a three-year Bible reading program to
be spearheaded by Franklyn Pfeil and the small groups team. It
will be launched church-wide in October.
Several decisions were made on disbursements from the
church benevolent fund. Due to the generous giving of the LAC
family, the benevolent fund continues to maintain a healthy
balance and to meet many needs in the church body.
The elders discussed several items of a pastoral
care/discipleship nature and spent time in prayer for numerous
needs in the LAC family.

in May was 337 (high 384, low 293); average LIFE Hour attendance
