You Were Made for a Mission

Jesus Christ said, "As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." (John 20:21)

 

Why is it important to Reach Out to others?

• It is a continuation of Jesus' mission on earth - He commissioned all believers to, "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matt. 28:19-20)

• It is a wonderful privilege - you are working with God and representing Him

• Because we have wonderful news to share! - telling others how they can have eternal life is the greatest thing you can do for them

• It has eternal significance

• It gives your life meaning - Paul said, "I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."

• share your story with them

• take them a meal

• pray for them every day until they are saved
