Kevin Robbins has served as senior pastor at LAC since 1998. Originally from the suburban Philadelphia area, he attended Davidson College in North Carolina where he played Division I soccer and majored in English and education. After teaching for three years, he earned a master’s degree from Columbia International University in South Carolina in 1987 and began pastoral ministry in Frederick County, Maryland. He and his wife, Laura, have been married since 1983 and have three young-adult daughters, Margaret, Mary Rachel and Anna.

As senior pastor, Kevin combines a passion for communicating the Bible in a personal, practical way with a burden for helping people connect with God through Jesus Christ, especially those who come from unchurched or non-faith backgrounds. He believes that only by facing their own personal brokenness can people begin to experience the wholeness that God makes possible through His work of grace.

Joe was born and raised just outside of Buffalo, NY. He became a follower of Jesus Christ at age 16, and felt called into ministry ever since. He went to seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and graduated in 2002. Since then, Joe has been in full time ministry at Lockport Alliance, wearing many different hats, but focusing mainly on youth.

Joe and his wife Laura have been married for 12 years and have three children Aiden (3/04), Catherine (9/06) and Isabella (9/09). Joe enjoys restaurants, buffets, pot luck dinners, Tim Horton’s coffee, sports, Scrabble, Redemption card game, and rooting for hapless teams like the Cincinnati Reds, the Buffalo Bills & the Buffalo Sabres.

Laura Robbins has served as Coordinator of Congregational Care at LAC since 2009. Having grown up in a small town in eastern North Carolina, she attended Davidson College where she majored in English and secondary education. Laura taught high school English for seven years, first on the coast of North Carolina and then in Columbia, South Carolina, while her husband, Kevin, was attending seminary. Laura retired from the high school classroom in 1987 when she and Kevin began their pastoral ministry together in Brunswick, Maryland and also started their family. She has devoted herself to being a mom to three girls, homeschooling for ten of those years, and to being active in church ministry. At different times she has worked in the areas of Christian education, women’s ministry, missions and visitation ministry.

Since their last daughter graduated from high school, Laura has counted it a privilege to work more closely in the area of congregational care, helping to mobilize the church body in giving compassionate care to one another.

Marcia joined the staff in 2004, but she grew up in Lockport Alliance Church so this is home for her. Although she graduated from Paul Smith’s College with a degree in Forest Management, most of her career was spent in Sales Management. Marcia is active in the church, heading up the Fellowship and Communication committees.

Marcia and her husband, Walt, have been married for 30 years and have been blessed with two children, both married. Their son Adam lives in Akron PA with his wife Cheyanna, and their daughter Sarah lives in Middleport, NY with her husband Adam.

Marcy Cole has had the opportunity to be part of the administrative staff for the Lockport Alliance church for 2 and ½ years. Working aside others as she assists in providing inter-personal communication, computer skills, and an on-going co-working environment for the overall organizational structure of the Lockport Alliance Church, she feels blessed to be a part of this wonderful staff. She has three children and holds a B.A from Niagara University and an M.A. from University at Buffalo.
